Red-necked Grebe and White-winged Doves, El Paso Cty, 9/13

Thanks to Mark Peterson for the heads up on the Red-necked Grebe at Big Johnson. It was cool and misty, but I did get the ID. I also found the Pacific Loon, but not the Common Loon. A couple of Black Terns were flying around as I left.

 

When I returned home, we had 24 White-winged Doves on our feeders. They made short work of their daily ration!
