This morning the pair of
Burrowing Owls in
residence at Robert A. Easton Regional Park near the northwest corner of Hine Lake had at least 6 owlets out and about, with both parents in attendance. They are easily viewed from the main path with a scope. Two poor but cute digiscoped images are below.
So, for locals with more history here than I have, are nesting Burrowing Owls a normal feature at Robert A. Easton, or is this out of the ordinary?
