Tennessee Warbler

A few minutes ago, I sat down in my favorite chair to read the paper and was greeted by a familiar song:  a Tennessee Warbler singing in my maple tree!  It sang 3 songs, then flew to the east.  I heard it sing one more time.   It is a loud song compared to other warbler songs, so if you live in Louisville and hear something different, check it out!

I haven’t heard it for years, but I grew up in SE Ohio where I heard it every spring. If I hear it again, I’ll try to get a px and(or) recording.
