to Colorado Birding
Greeting All
David Dowell and I spent about an hour (3-4 PM approx) at Chatfield looking in vain for yonder jaeger. Perhaps it was to well fed after its Larid repast and was off digesting some place quiet. We did see, however, a juvenile Mew Gull on the Marina Sandspit, and over the reservoir a young Sabine's Gull and a juv Thayer's Gull.
Today at Pueblo Reservoir there was both a Pacific and a Common Loon. At Pueblo City Park, 4 Pygmy Nuthatches and 7 Mountain Chickadees, but no YB Sapsucker. Similarly, we completed are triple dip by not seeing the YC Night Heron
