Hello, Birders.

If you haven't checked out the completely new CFO website, we hope you will. Here is yesterday's announcement, introducing the new website and describing some of its basic concepts and functionalities: http://tinyurl.com/New-CFO-website

Today, we'd like to introduce you to the CFO convention pages of the new website. Probably many of you are interested in the 2015 Convention, to be based out of Salida, Chaffee County, June 4-7. If you're not already interested, maybe this will do the trick: Gunnison Sage-Grouse, White-tailed Ptarmigan, Mountain Plover, Flammulated Owl, American Three-toed Woodpecker, Williamson's Sapsucker, Black-throated Gray Warbler, Sagebrush Sparrow, White-winged Crossbill, Brown-capped Rosy-Finch, and, who knows, maybe even a repeat performance by the celebrated Crested Caracara of Chaffee County. Now that you're definitely coming to the convention, learn all about the event at the new CFO website:

http://cobirds.org/CFO/Conventions/Next.aspx

To the left of the Salida announcement, you'll see links to recent conventions. That's just the tip of the iceberg. Go to this page for much more:

You can relive CFO convention history as far back as 1963. Who knew! If you're a less verbal, and more pictorial person, then check out this rendering of past conventions:

Happy browsing, and see you in Salida!
