What a morning! Okay so if you get the opportunity to see a Townsend's Solitaire in the hand by all means I think you will agree; it is one Beautiful bird! Other highlights included a Hatching year female Cooper's Hawk, and the first Ruby-crowned Kinglet of the year caught at Chico. Twenty-two bird species were captured today.The student's from St. Mary's High School got a treat by seeing a large bird of prey and comparing it to a Broad-tailed Hummingbird.
