Late May reports of Black-bellied Plover are unusual (except for this year with its retarded spring migration),
and early June is late.
There was one BB Plover in breeding plumage on the austral mudflats at Cherry Creek reservoir this morning.
I saw a few avocets and killdeer, but no other shorebirds there
A Great Egret was reported from Cottonwood Creek by Bob Rozinski.
There were no terns or other items of interest.
