The hayfield at MacKenzie and Grandview in Canon City where multiple Dickcissels were found by SeEtta Moss, was being cut today around 11am. The birds were calling and flying back and forth. A female with food was repeatedly perched on the uncut edge of the field appearing to fly down into the cut area.
