A female-type Purple Finch is visiting my feeders today, 2015Jan04, 704 Willow Valley Drive, Lamar (Prowers County) Colorado; several local birders were able to view the bird. Other birds of visiting in the yard today: White-winged Dove, Brown Creeper, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Red-breasted Nuthatch, White-breasted Nuthatch and Pine Siskin.
