Yesterday while I was checking on flood damage to Holcim Wetlands I also found a Black Phoebe along the Arkansas River near there.   Photos now uploaded to my Birds and Nature blog  (also have photos of Zone-tailed Hawk I found in Arizona and one in New Mexico as well as following Arizona rarities:  Sinaloa Wren, Lucifer Hummingbird, Plain-capped Starthroat)

Glad to see Brandon's post on the Common Terns at Pueblo Reservoir as he helped me with id of terns I had at Brush Hollow Reservoir yesterday afternoon.  I had 6 Common Terns and another that was likely a Black Tern.

And early yesterday evening I was delighted to watch at least 10 Chimney Swifts fly over my house.  They were flying fairly high in one direction and I have only seen one or two this summer in Canon City so believe this was a migrating flock.
