Today in the flooded area SE of Longmont I caught a flash of a small bird with a red rump and bright green lower back, thats all I saw of it in the leaves before it disappeared. I thought maybe a Summer tanager in first spring plumage but is that likely? Any help identifying this bird appreciated. -- Dave Hyde/Longmont, Boulder Cty
