Today I had a Swainson's Warbler at Arvada Blunn Reservoir.
A small brown bird, a pointed bill, flat darker crown, light buffy supercilium, brown stripe through the eye, pale breast and belly with no markings, and pale legs. Seen in dense thicket, hopped to a branch and sat for a few seconds, then moved to another branch and paused for few more seconds; then I lost the bird.
I tried from 4:30 to 6:00 PM to try and refind the bird, but I could not.
If anyone wants to try and refind the bird, it was on the west side of the reservoir. Follow the trail to a small bridge, then you will see a brown private property sign. The sidewalk will curve back to the east. In that area, there are two different types shrub that come together. This is where the bird was last seen.
