This morning Urling spotted -- or rather heard & then
saw -- an Eastern Phoebe on the Walker Trail, under the Colo. 86 bridge .
It called a lot, flew around a lot, and posed for a lousy, blurry, IPhone
picture.
We
also saw a Great-tailed Grackle -- or rather heard & then saw --
closer to the Walker gravel pit. We've encountered them three times this
spring, between McClain & Walker. eBird always wants details-- it's
"rare."
The trail starts a half mile west & a half mile north of the Franktown traffic light.
