A White-winged Scoter was seen and photographed this afternoon on a Denver Field Ornithologists field trip led by Paul Slingsby. The scoter on Shadow Mountain Lake was with a mixed group of waterfowl that included Barrow’s Goldeneyes, the target bird for the trip.
