Did anyone go back to the Pond on Weld County Road 7, late in the day, to see if any geese showed up to roost there?  Hopefully the people who missed it, have another chance.  Amazing find Steve Mlodinow, I doubt too many people study flocks of geese as much as he does!  This has been quite the year for crazy birds in Colorado, what's next I wonder.  I've been north of Monument Hill three times this year, and saw what I was hoping for each time!

A number of birders were on road 7 and then went to the end of Road 7.5 until dark. The bird had been reported at 2 by two people but was not seen again the rest of the day.  A lot of geese were coming into the ponds at the end of 7.5 a duck but it became too dark to be able to see them anymore by 5.
