I did a quick run out to the White Rocks Crossing, Boulder Creek, Boulder County, at sunrise this Sunday morning, May 18. Some of the local specialties of White Rocks are back, for example, this loudly declaiming after-second-year male Blue Grosbeak:

You can hear Northern Waterthrush, Eastern Warbling-Vireo, and other birds in the background.
