Hi all.

To add to Brad's post, I hit Dixon Res for about 30 minutes yesterday and pretty much had the same birds.  I was able to ID a Hammond's and Dusky and there were a fair number of other empids around. No doubt with this rain it will be closed for at least another week if not more.

I also hit McMurray Natural Area just north of Lee Martinez Park for about an hour.  There I had a singing Willow Flycatcher, 3 Warbling Vireos, a gorgeous White-throated Sparrow and a Broad-winged Hawk.  Also, there were 2 Ovenbirds that I never would have seen if one hadn't sounded off about 20 yards to my right.  As soon as he sang, he was answered by another.  I saw the first but never got eyes on the second.

Thirdly, I stopped at the Environmental Learning Center in the afternoon and ran into David Wade.  Together we re-found the male American Redstart a few trees down from where it was originally reported by Dave Leatherman.

Bird is the word y'all!
