Hi all,
I'll be in Weld County the next few days and if I can I'd like to see the black billed cuckoo.  I don't know where Norma's grove is though!  I looked on the county birding site and it isn't on there either (thanks for the heads up on that though Rachel).

Can someone send me directions off list?  I'll be in Milliken.

Would it be too much trouble for someone to post directions to Norma's grove to everyone. I am sure there are a few of us that might like to give this a go this weekend. I am sure someone in the past has posted this info, but I have been offline with co-birds for a while.

thanks,

Cobirders,

For Norma's Grove, from Denver for example, take I25 north to Ft. Collins Exit 269 east, (Route 14). Take route 14 about 20 miles east. Then Rt. 14 goes northeast for about 5 miles. As 14 turns to go east again, the north-south road is 57 Road. Take that road north for five miles to 100 Road. Go east for about 1/2 mile. The narrow grove of trees on both sides of the road is known as "Norma's Grove." I believe it is private property, so bird from the road. The cuckoo was last seen on the south side of 100 Road. I wish I could join you.  Good luck!

COBirders,
Here it is in a Google Map for those wanting to see it rather than have it written out.  You can go to this map and right click on the placemark to get directions from wherever you want to come from.
