I saw this house finch at our bird bath and thought the colors on its face were unusual. I have occasionally seen yellow house finches but not a mix of red and yellow like this.

We've had a yellow one on our feeder this summer, and about a decade ago I photographed a trio of males along Monument Valley Park with one the standard pinkish-red; one an almost Day-Glo orange, and one yellow. Over the last winter I noticed some others with large leucistic patches.
