What started out as a slower morning shaped up to be somewhat busier than our previous days, all while bringing in three new species. Today received our first Brown Creeper (station first), Black-throated Gray Warbler, and Red-breasted Nuthatch. Our species total is now sitting comfortably at 28. We’re still hoping to add Bushtit to the list, seeing as they’re always around the nets. However, I’d prefer not all thirty of them at once.
