More Spring Arrivals/Weld

Hi all

• Burrowing Owl (2) - Weld CR 100/49
• Mountain Plover (1); McCown's Longspur (3) - Weld CR 100/390 (about 1.0m from 390 on south is a large prairie dog colony, most reliable place for past 3-4 years. Seen in SE quadrant of colony at the very south end)
• Sharp-tailed Grouse (3); Chestnut-collared Longspur flyover (11+); McCown's Longspur flyover (3+) - Weld CR 134/111
• Swainson's Hawk (1) - Town of Grover
  
• Others: Ferruginous Hawk; Rough-legged Hawk Prairie Falcon

The large playa at Weld CR 122/83 actually has a lot of water for the first time that I can remember. No birds. Also, large prairie dog colony at Weld CR 122/85 (on south)-only dogs, so far.
