Hi all,
Thanks for all the help in the figuring out what a
rain crow is. The general consensus is for a yellow billed cuckoo though
one thought maybe a black billed. We have not heard it again though I have
been awake before daybreak and have listened. Our neighbor had seen a bird
that she wasn't sure of and thinks it may have been the cuckoo. We are
both going to keep a lookout for it. We will also be at Rocking 7K ranch
on Thursday and I will listen and look there. Several years ago they had
them there. I'll let you know if I find one, or two or more
:-)
Thanks again,
Judi Ogle
