Hi folks,

Although I'm sure everyone in the front range on this list and their uncle has already seen this bird, I wanted to report that it does still continue at Wilchester tree Grant Park in Jefferson County. I got great looks and sound recordings of it around seven this morning. I have to admit though that I was surprised to hear an atypical song for the species. But thankfully, since it is the only warbler present it seems, it was not too difficult to locate.

I'm amazed and very grateful that this bird is still here even after all this time.

Thanks to Eric's encouraging posting yesterday (and because neither I nor any of my uncles had seen it), I finally made the trek to Welchester Tree Grant Park in Jefferson County this morning. The Blue-winged Warbler was vocalizing constantly in the usual location at the east end, and was seen and photographed by several birders. The bird was still active until at least late morning (10:30 a.m.).

I was also delighted to still find this bird present after so long.
