Colorado Birds, the flagship publication of the Colorado Field Ornithologists (CFO), is seeking new articles about birds, birding or field ornithology. The magazine is published four times per year, in January, April, July and October. If you are interested, please contact me for guidelines and due dates.

Of particular interest is the following:

- Scientific papers communicating methodology and conclusions of ornithological studies conducted in Colorado and the surrounding region.

- Interesting birding experiences from around the state, for example the recent adventures and tragic demise of the JeffCo Dusky Grouse.

- Detailed reports of notable birding locations, for example how and when to bird the Pawnee Grasslands.

Don't get Colorado Birds? Not a CFO member? That is easily corrected! Visit the CFO website and sign up TODAY. Household membership is just $25/yr. and Youth membership is only $12/yr. Members receive Colorado Birds, can participate in the CFO Annual Convention and receive invitations to member-only field trips and additional benefits including partner discounts with Western Field Ornithologists (WFO) publications and field trips.
