Chatfield Jaeger behavior

Thanks to the heads up from Myron Gerhard's sighting on Sept 8th, I had the opportunity to get pics from the water on Sept 9th of the three juvenile Jaegers. See pics in my ebird report below. 

I was surprised to see the Parasitic and Long-tailed Jaegers hanging out together in such close proximity for such an extended time. They appeared quite comfortable and unperturbed by each others presence. Their behavior was more typical of a family unit than separate species! 

I'm wondering if anyone with more experience can elucidate on the group behavior of these two bird species and whether this is typical or unusual.

Oops. I was there on Sept. 10th, Myron discovered the birds Sept 9th. My bad.
