Todd Deininger, Tim Smart and I met Duane Nelson today at John Martin Reservoir.  We had stellar looks at both Piping and Snowy Plover as well as nesting Least Terns.

To top it off we had good looks at three Red-throated Loons. One was an adult in basic plumage and two were likely individuals in retained juvenile plumage.
