El Paso Long tailed duck pictures

I was able to get a few pictures of the Long tailed duck out at Big Johnson this afternoon, it was a great day for bird watching there, many hawks (red tailed and ferrigunous) and  northern harriers riding thermals in a large group, etc. Bill Maynard was there at the same time.

 

  The duck pictures are not great, it was very far out (300 yards(?) from the lower parking lot) and seemed to be spending 90%+ of the time under water. Bill Maynard may have gotten some better pictures.
