Downy Woodpecker- one on 11-13


Northern Shrike- near Rampart Reservoir on 11-2


Steller’s Jay- 12 on 11-25


Clark’s Nutcracker- along Fourmile Creek Trail in Dome Rock SWA on 11-6


American Crow- About 40 on 11-11, about 20 on 11-28


Golden-crowned Kinglet- Upper Limbaugh Canyon on 11-19


American Dipper- along South Platte River near Lake George on 11-6


Canyon Wren- along Fourmile Creek Trail in Dome Rock SWA on 11-6


Red-breasted Nuthatch- along Shinglemill Trail in Buffalo Creek RA on 11-15


Brown Creeper- 11-22

Fourmile Creek Trail in Dome Rock SWA on 11-6, Lovell Gulch Trail on 11-25


White-throated Sparrow- tan striped, 11-1, 11-3


Dark-eyed Junco- All 5 subspecies on 11-1, 11-6

Pink-sided- a few around all month

Evening Grosbeak- 1F on 11-9, 11-11, 11-12, 2 on 11-21, 11-23, 10 (7F,3M) on 11-28


Pine Siskin- 2 on 11-26


House Finch- 13 on 11-7, 21 on 11-12, 13 on 11-13, 10 on 11-24, about 20 on 11-28


American Goldfinch- a few on 11-3, 11-8, 3 on 11-20

A few along Upper Limbaugh Canyon on 11-20


Red Crossbill- about 20 along Shinglemill Trail in Buffalo Creek RA on 11-15


“Abert’s” Squirrel- 11-1, 11-3, 2 on 11-5, 11-6, 2 on 11-7, 1 on 11-13, 2 on 11-16, 11-19, 11-24, 2 on 11-27.  2 on 11-28

One or two around most of month. Abert’s seem to repel Fox Squirrels from yard area.

Unusual hybrid on 11-9, stocky with dark brown fur, black tail, slightly longer ears, in a tree eating a chunk of icy snow...,
