I try to make note each year of how early males start singing, and who's first.

 

Often I hear Chickadees starting the 'hey sweeties' very early, but not yet so far.  I did just hear a House Finch singing his heart out this morning, in the vicinity of Simms and Belleview, in Littleton, making him the first I've heard this year.
