Yellow-throated Warbler continues in Pueblo 5/9

I talked to Van Truan this morning, and he said, the Yellow-throated
Warbler continues to sing in Mineral Palace Park in Pueblo. Seems
like this singing male Yellow-throated Warbler is on territory, hoping
a female shows up. It would be nice, if female does show up, I don't
think there is a confirmed breeding record for this species in
Colorado. We've had singing male Yellow-throated Warblers in the
summer in Pueblo, at both Mineral Palace Park and Pueblo City Park, in
the past.

I spent a little time this morning, walking around a couple of spots
in Rock Canyon/Valco Ponds, below Pueblo Reservoir dam, there were
lots of Yellow-rumped and Yellow Warblers, one Virginia's Warbler, a
couple singing Plumbeous Vireo, several Warbling Vireos, a few Western
Tanagers, Black-headed Grosbeaks, Lazuli Buntings, a Broad-tailed
Hummingbird, and a Hammond's Flycatcher. It was overcast mostly, and
the Violet-green Swallows were back down as well.
