Today (27 January 2018), there were lots of birds at times, in the
area where the Prairie Warbler has been seen, below Pueblo Reservoir
dam, Pueblo County (from 5 December 2107 to 24 January 2018), though
the Prairie Warbler never appeared. Maybe it is still alive and well,
though, I think I should have seen it today, as I spent a lot of time
looking (and also looked yesterday for a little while). If anyone
does happen to find it again, please report it. I'm thinking it is
gone for real this time, so I'll be documenting it for the Colorado
Birds Records Committee soon. This is the first ever Prairie Warbler
in Colorado, during the month of January, and will be the 2nd
documented sighting for Pueblo County, during the winter months. I'm
happy it stayed a long time, and was seen by a lot of people. The
other winter Prairie Warbler in Pueblo County, was last seen on the
Pueblo Reservoir CBC on 16 December 1995, and not reported after that
date, as far as I know.

Someone reported seeing the Prairie Warbler this morning in Pueblo,
not sure why it didn't show up yesterday, when all the other birds
were present. If it is still present, maybe it will still be around
in February, for a first February record of the species for Colorado.
It seems like this bird has become very hard to find, not like in
December when it wasn't too hard to find.
