White-throated Sparrows - Aspen, Pitkin Cty

Hi all

 

Whilst participating in the Aspen Christmas Count this snowy Sunday Mary Harris and I found two White-throated Sparrows near Clark’s Market, in a private yard.

 

Also of note: an American Tree Sparrow on Gateway Mesa, Brown-capped and Gray-crowned Rosy-Finches at Buttermilk, many Evening and Pine Grosbeaks at Snowmass, pretty much all the flowing water was without any ice, and that Rebecca did a truly great job of organising – MANY THANKS!
