A bobwhite was visible to the Boulder bird club before leaving on their Wednesday field trip. Center of the field across from the East Boulder Rec Center (north), next to the blooming purple lupines.

The Northern Bobwhite continued this morning, although around 6:45am it was actually at the north parking lot for the East Boulder Rec Center in the landscaping. I got remarkable looks and excellent sound recordings of it proudly singing his name for all who cared to listen.
