Chatfield State Park, today, was a delight with wonderful weather and
varied avian observations! Cynthia Madsen and I scouted the park
before our upcoming Tuesday Birder outing and were later accompanied
by Lori Sharp. Notable observations among our sightings included:

1 Say's Phoebe (inland from the swim beach)
1 Common Loon (Jamison parking lot) YouTube video

and well as 2 additional Eastern Phoebe (1 carrying nesting material)
at the walking bridge over Plum Creek
1 Horned Lark and a Loggerhead Shrike (Model Airplane Field) YouTube
