I did not expect this November 1st at over 8000 feet. Maybe someone with more experience can chime in.

Photos in the checklist - full plumage male. Bird did not appear to be just passing through - was happily feeding near the river. I would guess you could see it again today, just drive down to the bottom of the campsite near the bathrooms.

Amazing find, Brad! This bird was still seen as of around noon today, unbothered by our presence and moving around between the center of the campground and the river.
