"Raptor Alley" with Boulder County Audubon and Others Results/Nunn

Fantastic day along "Raptor Alley" Saturday and with more sets of eyeballs a new high for the year!  We had eight cars of enthusiastic "raptorers" meeting at Honey's Cafe (aka Nunn Cafe).  Great weather conditions, too.

57 raptors seen between 0830-130am.  Primarily Weld CR 27 between Pierce, Nunn and Carr.

Ferruginous Hawk - 13
American Kestrel - 4
Prairie Falcon - 3
Red-tailed Hawk - 8
Northern Harrier - 4
Rough-legged Hawk - 16
Golden Eagle - 5
Unidentified - 3
Great Horned Owl - 1

Other:  Lapland Longspurs - pretty much at every Prairie Dog colony on route -- so dozens heard.

2013-2014 "Raptor Alley" reporting:
  October 13 - 25 raptors
  October 26 - 30 raptors
  December 1 - 47 raptors
  December 15 - 43 raptors
  January 11 - 57 raptors
