Aaron Shipe and Jeannie Mitchell found a Dunlin (photographed) and Greater Yellowlegs at a pond in Falcon, El Paso County today. The pond is off of Stapleton Drive and Lambert Road.  Go east on Stapleton, passed the golf course. There's an irrigation pond with a nasty "fountain" in the middle, on the south side. The water level is very low. The bird is hanging out with three Killdeer. (If you hit Eastonville Road, you've gone too far.

The Dunlin was still present at about 9 this morning. Many thanks to Mel Goff and his wife for their assistance in locating it. It was hanging around with about 4 Killdeer.
