Hi all,
After getting great recordings of the Mexican Whip-poor-will last night (without using any playback), I camped farther up the road and got up this morning to bird Custer County. Highlights were a male American Redstart below the dam at Lake Deweese and a male Hepatic Tanager on Greenwood Road. The tanager was at the stream crossing just south of 1700 Greenwood Road. I will upload photos to eBird when I get home.
