Birding trip to Brazil

I have a birding trip planned for the southeast Brazil rainforest and the southern Brazil state of Rio Grande do Sul. It will be about $6,000 plus airfare that I have found for less than $1,400. This is higher than I was hoping for but still $1,400 to $2,000 less than comparable trips. We would leave the US on October 20, arriving in Rio on October 21 and leaving Brazil for home on November 7.
