Typical fall species, at I think a fairly typical pace - 31 new birds, almost half of which were White-crowned Sparrows:

Rock Wren 1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 2
Hermit Thrush 2
Orange-crowned Warbler 2
Song Sparrow 3
Lincoln's Sparrow 1
White-crowned Sparrow, Gambel's 13
Dark-eyed Junco, Oregon 3
Dark-eyed Junco, Pink-sided 1
Dark-eyed Junco, Slate-colored 1
Dark-eyed Junco, unidentified 2

Weather permitting, we are banding Tuesday through Sunday mornings (closed Mondays).  There is a public session most weekday mornings from 7:30-8:30, and three time slots on weekends, at 8, 9, and 10 a.m. (although not this weekend, as we are doing a special training program).  There is a $7 fee and registration is required – click here to register!

Let me know if you have any questions,
