Cormorant, Arapahoe county

I have a double crested cormorant on the upper pond of Columbine lakes townhomes. The crests were easily seen. I can’t remember ever having cormorants this early!
I’ve also been having 9 hooded mergansers for a week on the upper pond. 1 male and the rest females! Quite the harem.

I had to leave for appts. So won’t be there again till this afternoon.

The property is private but you can come on it briefly with binocs.
