It doesn't appear that much bird movement will occur until the cold front comes through Thursday night/ Friday morning. However, later morning more birds flew into the nets than early in the day for anyone who birds the ranch tomorrow may want to keep that in mind. Nineteen bird species were recorded including two new species for the season: Hammond's Flycatcher and Western Kingbird. Four warbler species and five flycatcher species were part of the mix. All recaptures gained weight from their last capture. Plenty of insects for them to eat.
