Favorite fishing spot is beaver pond at intersection of Hwy 67 and Painted Rocks Rd. Good photos here. Also avoids $6 fee at the lake. Fastest route from Denver is through Colorado Springs and Woodland Park. Shortest distance route is via Rt. 285.
