A flock of about 30 Red Crossbills were seen by Building 7 at Denver West in Jefferson County. Mark Chavez brought us here in search of the Pine Warbler that we have yet to see.

No Pine Warbler, but a wonderful spot teeming with Red-Breasted Nuthatches, Brown Creepers & the aforementioned Red Crossbills. Thanks Mark Chavez for an outstanding morning of birding. Pictures of the Crossbills are here:
