A light northwest wind that carried into first light brought us some Wilson's Warblers. IT still is fairly quiet for the first hour or so. Ten bird species were captured. The recaptures were a mixed bag with most of them gaining weight or only losing a tenth of a gram. There are plenty of insects for the warblers to eat here. So food availability should not be an issue for fattening up for the trip south. In between net checks, Kara ID'd a male Ruby-throated Hummingbird at the feeder.
