A group of several birders are enjoying several note-worthy birds that continue (and even grow in number) on the Boulder Creek Trail on the CU East Campus.  The splendid Summer Tanager (adult male) that Peter Gent reported yesterday morning continues in a large flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers.  The tanager is feeding, calling and softly singing in the trees along the creek from the soccer scoreboard on to the east.  Also reported in the flock are Orange-crowned Warbler, Nashville Warbler and Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

The aforementioned birds were all refound this afternoon in the same location at around 5pm while I was there, by me and by several other happy enthusiastic birders. We also spotted a Plumbeous Vireo in the bunch.
