Short-billed Dowitcher, Lake Loveland (Larimer)

Currently with a dozen killdeer in northwest inlet mud flats by swim beach. Confirmed by extensive white in tail, flat back. I also recorded a flight call but just a single note. A late Franklins Gull is here also.

The plumage and vocalizations of this bird have been discussed on Advanced Birding Facebook Page and consensus is that it is a Long-billed Dowitcher, which is also much more likely given the date and location. The bird was reported at the same location this morning.
