An influx of
Empidonax flycatchers came overnight. Banding was halted around 7 AM for about an hour due to rain. Birds were thick before the rain and spread out or left the tree grove banding station area after it stopped. Bird numbers were greatly reduced after the rain. Twenty-six species bird species with Rose-breasted Grosbeak as the first of the season.
