Hello Chuck and all,

Thank you Chuck for the update on the Long-tailed Ducks! I do have to refuse any finding ownership of these beautiful individuals. I was third or fourth hand in the info chain (I heard of it through Megan Miller through Austin Hess who I think heard through David Wade). Anyway, these birds are at a relatively small pond. If you are interested in viewing this species without the need for a scope, this is the occasion. When I went, I was able to pick them out with the naked eye at first. They were always at least in binocular range.

Just to be fair and clear to everyone, Windsor birder Judy Sanborn found the 2 birds (a long awaited dream bird of hers) and I'm the one who informed everyone about it. And Sean is right, the views of these birds have been spectacular!
