Brief Encounters at Valmont Reservoir and Teller's Farm, Boulder

Hi All,         There were 3 Snow Geese within a sitting flock of Cackling + Canada's at the eastern end of the reservoir and one hundred or so Common Merganser. At Teller's Farm Open Space we had 10 Bluejay's mobbing a pair of Great Horned Owl that were deep and low in trees just south of the farm animals. A Northern Harrier and adult Bald Eagle flew by as we were exiting the parking lot.   Good Birding to all,
